Service Technician, Service Operations, Labs (Robotics)

Location: 100% on-site in Fremont, San Jose, or Sunnyvale, California, United States. Training takes place in Fremont, followed by a permanent AM or PM shift with weekend coverage. The operation runs 7 days a week, 16 hours a day.

Salary: $28.40–$41.80 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on robotic systems, electric bicycles, and support vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair faults in robotic platforms, modular components, electric bicycle drivetrains, electrical systems, control units, and battery packs.
• Assist senior and lead technicians with complex faults and develop advanced diagnostic skills.
• Use technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic flowcharts to guide service work.
• Document diagnostic steps, repairs, and component failures in the service management system.
• Follow preventive maintenance procedures and battery-care schedules to reduce downtime and extend fleet equipment life.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of service work experience.
• Curiosity and interest in mechanical work and repair.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and successful completion of an MVR check required.
• Availability for on-site work, AM or PM shifts, and weekend coverage required.

Nice to have

• Experience servicing vehicles, bicycles, fleets, electric or autonomous vehicles, robotics, or aircraft.
• Experience with JIRA, MaintainX, or other service tools and systems.
