Automation Maintenance Technician (Robotics)

Location: Manchester, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite work. Approximately 75% of the time is spent on a construction site, with work at heights up to 45 feet, in restrictive areas, and on automation structures.

Salary: $22.60–$31.21 per hour, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Inspect, operate, maintain, calibrate, repair, and modify automated storage and retrieval systems, robotic vehicles, adapters, lifts, and robotic arms.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, PLC, sensor, wiring, and electro-mechanical issues using diagrams and test equipment.
• Monitor system flow and support continuous operation, throughput, and recovery from robotic vehicle stoppages.
• Perform inspections, document repairs, parts, and labor in the CMMS, and communicate production-impacting issues and corrective actions.
• Complete minor utility and machining work, equipment cleanup, 5S activities, and Cell Operator functions as needed.
• Follow OSHA, customer, lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, and other safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience with mechanical automation systems or equivalent education or training.
• Strong electro-mechanical skills, PLC knowledge, and advanced troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read electro-mechanical schematics and wiring diagrams and work independently from procedures and manuals.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience or certification in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
• Written and verbal English proficiency is required.
• Ability to work onsite in Manchester, Pennsylvania, including extended standing and walking, climbing stairs, working at heights and in confined areas, and lifting up to 80 pounds.
