Field Service Technician (Entry Level)

Location: Dallas Office; candidate must live in the specified city and work onsite at customer locations across Northwest Dallas, Denton, Grapevine, and Lewisville, Texas.

Salary: $25.39–$28.55 per hour, plus bonus where applicable and benefits.

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical dispensing equipment and other commercial foodservice or laundry equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues using root-cause analysis and appropriate tools.
• Travel between customer accounts and provide independent field service focused on customer retention and service quality.
• Operate computers, phones, and service applications to input and access account and equipment data.
• Work rotating or extended schedules that may include 12-hour shifts, weekends, nights, holidays, and on-call coverage.
• Perform physical work including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders and stairs, and working in hot, cold, dusty, and uneven environments.

Requirements

• Must live in the specified city and be eligible to work onsite at customer facilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle; approximately 30% of the workday may involve driving between accounts.
• Basic understanding of electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform root-cause analysis.
• Working knowledge of tools, data, service implements, and service requirements.
• Proficiency with laptops, mobile phones, Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
