Salary: $85,768.30–$117,931.40 annually

What you will do

  • Supervise the material planning team and support accurate material requisition and scheduling.
  • Review and approve quantities, schedules, and parts lists in coordination with production requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain the flow of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Monitor inventory, identify shortages, and escalate material or scheduling issues before production is disrupted.
  • Maintain planning documentation, support team training, and contribute to process improvements.
  • Use ERP/MRP systems and analyze KPIs to support inventory, procurement, and production planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of operations or related experience; 9 years is required without a degree.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and familiarity with materials management systems.
  • Practical knowledge of manufacturing, engineering planning, inventory management, and MRP I and II principles.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, work at a computer for extended periods, and work in a noisy manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

  • Previous supervisory experience, including assigning, directing, and evaluating employee work.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
  • Aerospace and defense, U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. military experience.
  • Familiarity with Costpoint.
