Senior Manager, Demand Planning (Aerospace)

Salary: $136,940–$194,388 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and scale the Demand Planning organization across development and production programs.
• Define demand planning, material planning, and sparing strategies that support program schedules, build priorities, and business objectives.
• Establish operating rhythms for demand aggregation, BOM analysis, MRP runs, shortage management, material readiness, and inventory planning.
• Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Inventory, Finance, and Program leadership to identify and mitigate material risks.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, governance, and executive business reviews covering planning accuracy, inventory health, material readiness, and program risk.
• Improve MRP, master data, planning systems, automation, processes, standards, and training as the organization scales.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience in demand planning, material planning, production planning, supply chain, operations, or a related function.
• 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams in a complex manufacturing or hardware environment.
• Deep experience with MRP, BOMs, inventory planning, material requirements, shortage management, and material readiness.
• Experience establishing planning strategies, operating rhythms, KPIs, and governance across multiple programs, products, or production builds.
• U.S. export-control eligibility is required: applicants must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, spaceflight, automotive, or high-growth hardware manufacturing.
• Advanced experience with MRP, ERP, MES, PLM, manufacturing planning systems, reporting, analytics, and automation.
• Experience building or transforming planning organizations during rapid company or production growth.
• Experience developing organizational structures, hiring plans, career frameworks, and planning talent.
