Branch Manager (Industrial Gas Distribution)

Location: Richmond, Indiana, United States — N.W. 11th retail shop. Full-time, on-site schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Manage daily retail branch operations, including sales, warehousing, distribution, safety, and customer service.
• Lead Counter Sales, Warehouse, Drivers, and Customer Service employees.
• Oversee branch profitability, budgeting, gross margins, operating expenses, accounts receivable, equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
• Manage hard-goods inventory, cycle counts, receiving, showroom and warehouse standards, and physical inventories.
• Coordinate daily inter-branch hard-goods orders and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, working conditions, and team efficiency while enforcing company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least five years of experience in sales or distribution of gases, welding supplies, or similar industrial products.
• At least two years of demonstrated management or leadership experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, delegation, coaching, and performance-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Nice to have

• Prior SAP experience.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
