Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, USA; onsite, Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM

What you will do

• Direct, coordinate, and plan activities within a production department according to the master production schedule.
• Lead and supervise a workforce of up to 15 hourly employees, including machine operators working with milling, mixing, and canning equipment.
• Communicate production procedures and ensure that they are understood and implemented.
• Interpret statistical reports, cycle-time specifications, and job orders, then assign duties to production workers.
• Coordinate with the Production Manager and other Production Supervisors.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, and supervisory or managerial work.
• Mechanical skills and knowledge of production processes.
• Strong mathematical, oral, written, reading, and comprehension skills.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams, delivering performance metrics, and applying OEE, Lean, or TPM manufacturing principles.

Nice to have

• SAP knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer tools.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
• Spanish, Polish, or sign language proficiency.
• Ink manufacturing knowledge, including UV/TP/OSF processes.
• Experience with inventory control, change management, and manufacturing program planning.
