Software Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Applicants must already hold a current TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph before applying. Clearance sponsorship or processing is not available.

Salary: $163,000–$178,000 per year, plus $41,000–$44,000 in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions.

What you will do

• Procure, configure, test, and prepare inference models for user release.
• Develop services and techniques that maintain high-quality, continuous inference.
• Work with model vendors to build reliable pipelines for closed-source model usage.
• Support short-term, high-priority inference requirements during surge efforts.
• Establish service infrastructure and integrate LLM-powered tools with other organizational teams.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required before applying.
• At least 3 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or 4 additional years of experience in place of the degree.
• Experience with Python or other modern programming languages.
• Familiarity with Argo CD or other CI/CD frameworks, Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS or another cloud provider.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and communicate effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with vLLM, LiteLLM, or similar inference-serving and LLM hosting frameworks.
• Production software support using SRE practices.
• Experience with Elastic, Grafana, Prometheus, Docker, or containerization.
• Experience in traffic shaping and quality-of-service engineering.
• Knowledge of and interest in hosting AI capabilities.
