Software Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Salary: $163,000–$178,000 per year, plus $41,000–$44,000 in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions

What you will do

• Deploy and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters supporting AI capabilities.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for reliable, repeatable deployments.
• Configure observability tools to monitor production service health and performance.
• Support certificate management and apply security best practices for AI systems and data.
• Collaborate with other teams to provision and configure required service infrastructure.
• Diagnose and help resolve production infrastructure issues.

Requirements

• Must already hold a TS/SCI clearance with a current Full Scope Polygraph before applying.
• Clearance sponsorship or clearance processing is not available.
• At least 3 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or 4 additional years of experience in place of the degree.
• Proficiency with Python or another modern programming language.
• Familiarity with cloud providers, containerization concepts, and tools such as Docker, along with strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services including EKS, Terraform, and IAM.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, Argo CD, or other CI/CD frameworks.
• Experience with Elastic Stack, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, or related observability tools.
• Experience with certificate management, cloud-native architecture, production infrastructure, or software maintenance.
• Familiarity with LLMs and AI hosting concepts.
