AI Platform & DevSecOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes)

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, build, secure, and operate scalable platform capabilities and cloud infrastructure in AWS GovCloud.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and reusable Infrastructure as Code components using tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Deploy and operate containerized applications on Docker and Kubernetes, including Amazon EKS, covering networking, storage, secrets, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Integrate security automation, compliance validation, vulnerability scanning, secrets detection, and software supply-chain controls into delivery workflows.
• Enable the secure deployment and operation of AI-enabled applications and approved AI/LLM services such as Amazon Bedrock.
• Implement observability and production operations, including monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, root-cause analysis, and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, software engineering, or related roles.
• Strong experience with AWS, Docker/OCI containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Python, and automation scripting.
• Experience with cloud security, IAM, networking, encryption, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge and practical experience with AI/ML, generative AI, LLMs, AI APIs, model inference, and AI-enabled cloud or containerized applications.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS GovCloud, DoD or federal environments, RMF, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, FedRAMP, DISA STIGs, and Zero Trust.
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, AI platform operations, or AI security and governance.
• Familiarity with Helm, Argo CD, Flux, observability platforms, SBOMs, artifact signing, container hardening, and policy enforcement.
• AWS, Kubernetes, security, DevSecOps, or AI/ML professional certifications.
