Principal Analyst, Transparency Services Equities - Extended Hours

Location: Rockville, MD, United States; hybrid work environment with defined in-person presence requirements. Extended-hours support and travel may be required.

Salary: $112,300–$202,500 annually for Rockville, MD.

What you will do

• Monitor real-time trade reporting integrity, data dissemination issues, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate hirify.global teams, broker-dealer members, SEC staff, and other external parties during emergencies and market events.
• Analyze trade data and trading events to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Design data collection methods, analytics tools, key performance indicators, and recurring measurement processes.
• Provide subject matter expertise on securities regulation, market structure initiatives, rule filings, and market events.
• Coach junior colleagues and lead cross-organizational initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of experience in finance, compliance, business analytics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of the regulation and operation of U.S. broker-dealers and the broader financial regulatory environment.
• Experience with securities market structure, associated data, regulations, or market surveillance processes.
• Advanced financial services data analysis skills, including work with internal and third-party data sources.
• Experience developing executive-level reporting that converts complex metrics into actionable strategic intelligence.
• Exceptional communication, organization, prioritization, independent problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
