PRN Medical Assistant - Reedsburg, WI

Location: WI-DODGEVILLE, Wisconsin; onsite clinical role

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare examination rooms, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Review medical information, collect updated health data, take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations under provider direction and written orders.
• Manage front-desk activities, including scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, documentation, referrals, and specialist coordination.
• Process test results and communicate them to patients by e-message, mail, or phone according to provider instructions.
• Support patient outreach and collaborate with the care team on individualized care plans and care gaps.

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where mandated by the state.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
• Accurate medical-record documentation and patient-care coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
• Primary care experience.
