Salary: $40.79–$55.07 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct outpatient physical therapy and manage patient care from initial contact through discharge.
• Evaluate patients, select appropriate treatment modalities and equipment, perform re-evaluations, and adjust treatment plans.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, daily treatment responses, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients using materials and methods suited to their understanding and motivation.
• Collaborate with physical therapist assistants, physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in committees, process improvement, clinical education, student mentoring, and department projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Ability to maintain documentation, productivity, safety, and treatment-quality standards.
• Ability to flex the schedule or assignment to meet patient care and department needs.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
