TL;DR

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; onsite work in an office and lab environment

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year, depending on skills and experience

What you will do

  • Lead the design and development of metal-based photomask handling systems and next-generation MicroEnvironments products.
  • Develop product enhancements and derivative designs that improve performance and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Build, test, and validate prototypes in real-world conditions.
  • Perform FEA, CFD, and moldflow analyses to optimize designs.
  • Lead products from concept through production launch while coordinating with simulation, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
  • Investigate root causes of design, manufacturing, and performance issues and communicate technical specifications across functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of hands-on product design and development experience.
  • Proficiency with CAD software, including SolidWorks and Creo.
  • Experience with Design FMEA, Process FMEA, precision machining, design for manufacturability, and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor industry requirements and experience launching products.
  • Strong project management, change control, technical communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
