Manager of IT / Senior Project Manager (Insurance)

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 annual

What you will do

• Lead the IT strategy for an insurance division and align technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Plan, execute, and deliver multiple complex IT projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Analyze technical systems and application issues, document findings, and propose solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and manage IT teams while fostering continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and network staff to define requirements and ensure reliable software and systems operation.
• Develop manual and automated procedures and ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, security protocols, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in IT leadership and managing IT coding projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience across the full software development life cycle.
• Experience with document management, vendor management, and website management.
• Experience managing teams, setting goals, delegating effectively, and developing team members.

Nice to have

• Certification such as PMP, ITIL, or similar.
