Digital Project Manager

Location: Rockville, Maryland, United States; client-site work required up to two days per week

Salary: $89,649–$152,404 per year

What you will do

• Plan and execute cross-functional projects modernizing state and federal digital services and public-facing websites.
• Maintain schedules, product roadmaps, release plans, priorities, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
• Coordinate engineers, UX designers and researchers, analysts, product managers, accessibility experts, security specialists, and other contributors.
• Manage budgets, cost estimates, resource allocation, risks, and delivery barriers.
• Improve intake, prioritization, Agile ceremonies, decision paths, quality processes, accessibility, and continuous improvement.
• Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and decision makers to maintain clarity, momentum, and transparency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience leading digital development efforts for federal clients.
• Ability to work at the client site in Rockville, Maryland, up to two days per week.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Experience with cross-disciplinary software development teams and Agile delivery methods, including Scrum or Kanban.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence, plus strong problem-solving and consensus-building skills.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Experience with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or the Health Resources and Services Administration.
• Experience with human-centered design, Drupal, or other open-source applications.
• Experience launching digital solutions, analyzing performance, and driving continuous product improvements.
• Experience with government business development, capture, solutioning, technical approaches, or pricing.
