Purchasing Analyst (Robotics)

What you will do

• Create, confirm, track, expedite, and close purchase orders based on MRP output, build plans, and field-service demand.
• Maintain runout and inventory reports, monitor on-hand, on-order, and safety stock levels, and escalate shortages early.
• Execute purchasing changes related to engineering change orders, including cancellations, rescheduling, and re-quoting.
• Maintain accurate item, vendor, lead-time, and pricing data in the ERP and resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies.
• Test purchasing workflows for the internally built ERP, document processes, and identify gaps before system cutover.
• Coordinate with suppliers, Quality, Receiving, Finance, and internal teams on quotes, delivery, quality, and spend reporting.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, buying, procurement, or materials planning.
• Hands-on experience running the full purchase order cycle in an ERP, including creating, changing, and closing POs.
• Ability to track numerous open orders, maintain persistent follow-through, and identify potential shortages.
• Clear and direct communication with suppliers and internal teams, including early escalation of issues.
• Ability to work on-site in Norcross, Georgia, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, automation, industrial equipment, or low-volume, high-mix hardware manufacturing.
• Familiarity with machined, sheet metal, fabricated, and electrical components, basic drawings, and BOMs.
• Experience with ERP implementation or system migration.
• Exposure to excess and obsolete inventory management or ECO-driven purchasing changes.
