Procurement Manager (Electrical Power)

Location: Xiamen, Fujian, China; onsite with travel required

What you will do

• Lead the grid component procurement team for the China business line and deliver cost, cash, fulfillment, supplier quality, and sustainability KPIs.
• Execute global and regional procurement policies, maintain supplier data, and optimize procurement processes.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies with category managers and develop suppliers for current and future business needs.
• Collaborate with technology, engineering, and operations teams on supplier innovation, process optimization, and cost-out projects.
• Manage supplier audits and qualification activities while reducing cost of failure and improving supplier quality.
• Provide training, coaching, and professional development for the procurement team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of managerial experience in operations or supply chain management within multinational companies.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing complex projects and implementing innovative sourcing or operational solutions.
• Fluent English.
• Availability for business travel and compliance with local hirify.global employment requirements.
