Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting

Location: Los Angeles, California; on-site role

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Prepare and review monthly and year-end financial statements, supporting schedules, and disclosures under U.S. GAAP.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, consolidations, and financial statement presentation.
• Assist with external audits and coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
• Research accounting guidance and new standards, documenting conclusions in technical accounting memoranda.
• Analyze financial statement results, trends, and variances while supporting ad-hoc projects.
• Improve reporting processes, internal controls, and accounting efficiency through automation, AI-enabled tools, and analytical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• At least 3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with employees, management, and external partners and lead process-improvement initiatives.

Nice to have

• CPA license or certification.
• Public accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, Microsoft VB, or macros.
