Lead Software Engineer (Automotive)

Salary: $141,807–$212,710 USD annual base pay

What you will do

• Define the technical vision for enterprise applications, integration platforms, and digital capabilities supporting operations and supply chain transformation.
• Design resilient, scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise platforms for growing operational complexity.
• Develop API-first, event-driven, and data-centric integration strategies across supply chain, finance, operations, and commercial systems.
• Evaluate technologies, SaaS platforms, and integration capabilities while advising engineering and business leadership.
• Establish standards for software quality, reliability, security, observability, automation, and governance.
• Mentor engineers, improve developer productivity, and strengthen architectural alignment across teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in automotive, e-commerce, manufacturing, or related environments.
• Hands-on experience with React, microservices or serverless architectures, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS.
• Experience delivering supply chain, procurement, or e-commerce systems at OEM or Tier-1 scale.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, infrastructure as code, cloud-native design, production operations, and service-level agreements.
• Experience with API design, event-driven messaging, EDI, CRM and ERP integrations, and heterogeneous enterprise systems.
• Ability to communicate technical complexity as business outcomes and present to executive and board-level audiences.
