What you will do

• Develop electrical systems for a four-wheeled autonomous delivery robot from concept through production.
• Lead high-speed digital design covering PCIe, MIPI, Ethernet, DDR, and multi-gigabit SERDES.
• Own PCBA development, including schematic capture, stack-up definition, layout guidance, impedance control, and design for manufacture.
• Integrate Wi-Fi, LTE/5G, GNSS, Bluetooth, RADAR, and LiDAR systems, including antenna placement and signal integrity.
• Design cable harnesses, connectors, grounding strategies, power distribution, battery interfaces, and protection circuits.
• Support prototype bring-up, hardware and firmware debugging, EMI/EMC compliance, design reviews, and cross-functional hardware delivery.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3–7+ years of experience designing complex embedded hardware systems.
• Strong expertise in high-speed digital circuit design, multilayer PCB design, stack-up planning, signal integrity, power integrity, RF integration, cable harnesses, and interconnects.
• Experience designing EMI/EMC input and output filters and taking hardware products from concept to production.
• Experience with mobile or ruggedized systems operating in real-world environments, including hands-on debugging and laboratory bring-up.
• Role located in Oakland, California, United States.

• Experience in robotics, automotive, aerospace, or industrial automation.
• Experience with safety-critical or high-reliability systems and high-voltage battery systems.
• Experience with environmental, vibration, and regulatory testing.
• Experience with contract manufacturers and NPI processes.
• VNA and spectrum analyzer experience.
