Project Manager, Diagnostic Operations

Location: Hybrid in Chicago or New York, United States

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 annually for Chicago; the range may vary by location.

What you will do

• Execute operational initiatives and workflow improvements across the diagnostics business unit.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for operating systems and tools supporting diagnostics operations, including data integrity, security, and workflow performance.
• Own process improvements, new initiatives, project tracking systems, and operational status reporting.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards, partnering with Business Intelligence to define KPIs, validate data, and improve reporting.
• Pull and combine operational data from source systems to support reporting and process decisions.
• Coordinate operational communications and cross-functional work with Business Intelligence, Salesforce, Product, and Internal Operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, Business, an analytical field, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in operations, project management, healthcare, diagnostics, data, or analytics.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, iterative environment with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain operational details to leadership.
• Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.
• Proficiency with Salesforce/SFDC, database management, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare diagnostics, oncology, or life sciences.
• Familiarity with clinical and laboratory data systems such as LIMS and EMR.
• Experience building dashboards or operational reports.
