ServiceNow Business Analyst

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside and work in the U.S. Role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance.

Salary: $81,499–$138,549 per year

What you will do

• Analyze existing system documentation and summarize functionality relevant to project needs.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scoped user stories with clear acceptance criteria using Gherkin syntax.
• Create and maintain project roadmaps and support all project phases from discovery through delivery.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, sprint meetings, and cross-functional discussions with Product Owners, developers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, system demonstrations, and stakeholder presentations.
• Create and peer-review functional specifications, technical documentation, training materials, process maps, and role matrices.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and residence in the United States are required; all work must be performed in the U.S.
• Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance is required.
• 6+ years of business analysis experience translating requirements into scoped user stories and creating project documentation.
• Experience working with stakeholders to elicit, understand, and prioritize requirements.
• Experience with Agile environments, facilitating ceremonies, and using Gherkin acceptance criteria.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, stakeholder presentation experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Platform experience, including ServiceNow App Engine, CSM, or ITSM.
• Active DHS or DoW Public Trust clearance.
• Experience manually testing user stories and working with basic system technologies.
