Paid IT Intern

Location: On-site in Arlington, Virginia, United States; daily commuting to the office is required.

Salary: $17.25 per hour, with potential bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Learn and provide support for desktop and laptop systems, including break/fix service.
• Load operating systems and applications and configure applications and user settings.
• Record, track, and escalate support cases through the established ticketing system.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Work directly with clients remotely and on-site while coordinating tasks with service delivery and advanced technical teams.

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of Windows or Mac platforms and a genuine interest in troubleshooting and IT.
• Planned career path in the IT services industry and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
• Strong time management, organization, reliability, and professional work habits.
• Clear verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts simply.
• Ability to lift and carry computer components weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to commute daily to the Arlington, Virginia office; this is an in-office internship, not a remote role.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with an IT ticketing system or previous helpdesk, support, or customer-facing experience.
