Associate, Industrials M&A (FDD/TAS Experience Required)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States. Hybrid schedule with in-office work Monday through Thursday and the option to work remotely or from the office on Fridays.

Salary: $175,000–$225,000 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily client interactions and serve as a central contact between clients and the M&A team.
• Conduct industry research to identify market trends, buyers, and acquisition targets.
• Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, financial models, valuations, and databooks.
• Manage vendor due diligence across financial, commercial, and operational workstreams, including dataroom preparation and information requests.
• Synthesize complex datasets, support negotiations on purchase price adjustments and working capital targets, and coordinate bidder engagement.
• Review analyst deliverables, guide junior team members, participate in pitches, and host potential buyer visits at client facilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of financial due diligence or M&A transaction advisory experience, preferably at a Big 4 firm or another listed advisory firm.
• Manager-level and/or third-year Senior Associate or Supervisor candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, finance, and quality of earnings analysis.
• Experience with financial modeling, valuation, databook preparation, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, project management, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
