Electrical Validation Intern (High-Speed Hardware and Python)

What you will do

• Analyze overnight electrical validation data and compare results with expected outcomes.
• Set up and calibrate high-speed test benches using oscilloscopes, bit error rate testers, network analyzers, and pattern generators.
• Characterize device parameters and document findings in summary reports.
• Debug unexpected measurement results with a mentor and the engineering team.
• Build Python test automation and AI-assisted validation agents using tools such as Claude and Glean.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with expected graduation between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
• Solid engineering fundamentals and understanding of microelectronic circuits and systems.
• Knowledge of or strong interest in RF systems, high-speed data transmission, and signal integrity.
• Programming experience in Python.
• Eligibility to access export-controlled technology and software under applicable U.S. export control laws; some applicants may require an export license review.

Nice to have

• Test automation experience.
• Knowledge of electronics and printed circuit board assembly.
• Experience with data processing and visualization.
