Project Leader or Principal - Technology & Digital Consulting

Location: Australia and New Zealand; Australian citizenship required, with the ability to obtain an AGSVA clearance. Flexibility to travel interstate or internationally is required.

What you will do

• Lead technology and digital transformation programs for clients across public sector, industrial goods, consumer and retail, energy, telecommunications, and financial institutions.
• Develop digital strategies, operating models, CIO advisory approaches, and technology architectures.
• Design next-generation technology platforms combining business, data, and core technology layers.
• Enable digital, data, and generative AI transformations at scale, including cloud-native modernization.
• Lead high-performing case and project teams while developing client relationships and supporting BCG leadership.
• Drive business development, presales, proposal development, and client presentations.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in strategy, management, or technology consulting, with relevant digital, technology, startup, or industry experience.
• Experience leading and managing high-performing consulting or project teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, conceptual thinking, communication, storytelling, client-facing, and consulting skills.
• Strategic mindset, senior presence, and demonstrated ability to frame strategic challenges from a digital and technology perspective.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in IT, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain an AGSVA clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in public sector, financial institutions, industrial goods, consumer and retail, or energy.
• Experience across operational technology, IoT, technology talent, Agile ways of working, cyber, and digital risk.
