Project Manager, Employee Experience & HR Technology Director (HR Technology)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Full-time onsite role with 10% travel; relocation eligible.

Salary: $164,000–$225,500 per year, plus potential bonus and stock awards.

What you will do

• Lead strategic governance and oversight of the HR transformation and HR technology portfolio.
• Establish prioritization frameworks, investment criteria, governance standards, and executive reporting mechanisms.
• Advise the VP of Employee Experience and HR leadership on portfolio strategy, risks, investments, and organizational readiness.
• Develop and evolve multi-year HR transformation roadmaps with HR leadership and Global Information Services stakeholders.
• Evaluate program interdependencies, resource constraints, delivery maturity, and opportunities to improve execution.
• Guide change readiness, stakeholder engagement, communications, and adoption across strategic HR initiatives.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of progressive experience in portfolio management, enterprise PMO leadership, HR transformation, HR technology, or large-scale business transformation.
• Experience leading enterprise portfolios or PMO functions across complex, cross-functional organizations.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership, influencing strategic decisions, and driving alignment without formal authority.
• Significant experience with HR technology transformations, including Workday, HRIS, employee experience platforms, or enterprise-wide system deployments.
• Expertise in portfolio governance, program management, resource planning, risk management, and organizational change leadership.
• Ability to build executive dashboards, portfolio reporting frameworks, roadmaps, and investment prioritization methodologies.

Nice to have

• Background in Employee Experience, HR Operations, Digital HR, or Workforce Technology.
• Experience in large, global organizations undergoing significant transformation.
• Familiarity with Agile, Product Delivery, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery frameworks at scale.
