Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Special Coagulation

What you will do

• Assess specimen acceptability and assist with specimen processing.
• Perform routine and complex technical laboratory procedures according to standard operating procedures.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Prepare, test, and evaluate reagents and controls.
• Report accurate and timely test results to support patient care.
• Perform preventive maintenance, quality control, documentation, and supply replenishment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical science, biological science, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• Applicable non-traditional degrees with sufficient science credits may meet CLIA education requirements.
• Knowledge of laboratory operations, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong attention to detail, communication, and organization.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role and pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Proficiency with computers and familiarity with laboratory information systems; flexibility for overtime or other shifts may be required.

Nice to have

• At least three months of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• ASCP or AMT certification.
