Mechanical & Process Engineer (AI)

Location: Aalborg, Denmark; permanent onsite position

What you will do

• Develop CAD models, fabrication drawings, material selections, and structural and fluid calculations for mixing equipment.
• Create P&I diagrams, size process lines and components, and optimize advanced fluid dynamics components.
• Develop and optimize mixing technologies for food, beverage, dairy, and other liquid food applications.
• Align process designs with automation and electrical requirements to integrate physical machinery with digital control.
• Explore and implement AI and machine learning concepts for mixer functionality, predictive maintenance, and process efficiency.
• Test and validate prototypes and new design solutions, provide technical support, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Expertise in both mechanical design and process engineering, preferably in hygienic or food processing.
• Ability to integrate automation and electrical systems into mechanical designs.
• Knowledge of or strong interest in applying AI and machine learning to industrial processing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Product Developer, or in a similar engineering development role.
• Fluent written and spoken English and availability to work in Aalborg, Denmark.
