ICT Supervisor/Engineer

What you will do

• Lead, coordinate, and produce ICT designs for a mission-critical data center construction project.
• Develop FEED, concept, basis-of-design, detailed design, specifications, contract documents, drawings, single-line diagrams, and room layouts.
• Design containment pathways, copper and fiber cabling, racks, ICT rooms, wireless systems, LANs, VLANs, power, cooling, earthing, fire stopping, and MDF/IDF/PoE infrastructure.
• Coordinate ICT standards and requirements with clients, contractors, project management, and other engineering disciplines.
• Support cost estimates, tender evaluations, bills of materials, bid packages, approval packages, and construction issue documentation.
• Develop commissioning processes, participate in factory and site acceptance testing, conduct system walkdowns, and close ICT punch-list items through handover.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of formal ICT engineering design experience in mission-critical environments.
• Engineering degree or equivalent is desirable.
• Chartered Engineer status or progress toward chartership.
• Strong knowledge of American and European telecommunications industry standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including preparation of specifications and contract documents.
• Professional commitment to safety, quality, environmental protection, and ethical business practices.

Nice to have

• RCDD certification.
• CNET certification, such as CDCDP or CNIDP.
• Experience working in BIM environments with Revit, Navisworks, or AutoCAD.
