Strategic Sourcing Lead (Telecommunications Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage the regional sourcing strategy for Tijuana raw material, X-Mark raw material, and purchased finished goods.
• Develop and execute productivity improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, cost avoidance, and supply-chain risk mitigation.
• Lead supplier negotiations, contracting, quarterly business reviews, and ongoing supplier relationship management.
• Support New Product Introduction to deliver products on time to market.
• Coordinate with customer service, suppliers, shipping, PLM, R&D, regional plants, and procurement leads.
• Manage Phase-in/Phase-out processes and implement corrective measures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• At least three years of relevant experience in technical or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with sheet metal, stamping, plastic injection, machining production, or related manufacturing processes.
• Experience in supplier management and negotiation, risk management, and project management within the telecommunications industry.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
