Shipping Team Lead (2nd Shift)

What you will do

• Lead, communicate with, and direct distribution associates throughout daily warehouse activities.
• Coordinate staffing movements, shift orders, work plans, and associate allocation during the second shift.
• Reinforce safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, volume, efficiency, and on-time delivery objectives.
• Perform process audits and capture daily performance data to identify effective improvement methods.
• Monitor warehouse systems and communication with internal and external customers to ensure timely completion of work.
• Oversee cooperation and help resolve technical, quality, and logistics issues during the shift.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer, warehouse system, and powered industrial equipment skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, work at heights, use appropriate PPE, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime with minimal notice.

Nice to have

• Prior leadership experience.
• Warehouse Management System knowledge.
