Electrical Developer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Linkou, Taiwan

hirify.global develops high-tech semiconductor lithography equipment and provides refurbishment, upgrades, spare parts, and service for installed systems.

What you will do

• Redesign, create, test, and integrate electrical subsystems for PAS 5500 and XT1-2-3 lithography platforms.
• Manage development projects involving end-of-life components, peripheral and PCBA redesign, supplier transfers, and cost reduction.
• Define requirements, review outsourced designs, and qualify functional performance at component and subsystem levels.
• Lead electronic repairs, refurbishment, troubleshooting, and the implementation of quick fixes and structural solutions.
• Support manufacturing, suppliers, and customer support with engineering changes, output, quality, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate technology transfer between hirify.global headquarters, Taiwan, the US, and suppliers in Asia.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering and more than five years of relevant technical experience, including project management.
• Experience with PCBA, rack, cabinet, electro-mechanical, and multidisciplinary system design.
• Knowledge of digital and analog mixed-signal circuit design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience developing measurement tools, positioning systems, multidisciplinary assemblies, or handling systems in compliance with international standards and machine safety requirements.
• Strong root-cause analysis, analytical, communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
• Good English and Mandarin proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD, Siemens NX, DxDesigner/xDX Designer, Teamcenter, SAP, or Oracle.
• Experience with quality, efficiency, and cost-reduction projects in production and development environments.
