Senior HVAC Engineer (Pharma and Mission Critical)

What you will do

• Complete HVAC and black utility designs, including calculations, technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
• Perform load and system calculations and develop P&IDs through all design stages.
• Select and specify mechanical equipment such as air handling units, pumps, and cooling towers.
• Coordinate services and equipment with other disciplines and lead multidisciplinary design activities.
• Review shop drawings, support construction services, complete field surveys, and prepare cost estimates.
• Manage project deliverables, equipment requirements, client/vendor/contractor communications, and technical proposals across multiple projects.

Requirements

• 10+ years of project design experience as a lead engineer.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of heating and cooling systems, including economizers, centrifugal chillers, chilled water distribution, thermal storage, CRAH and CRAC equipment, and water treatment.
• Technical knowledge of building automation, monitoring and alarm systems, and electrical design requirements.
• Proficiency with engineering design software and strong project management, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Professional, reliable, proactive, and safety-, quality-, and environmentally focused approach to work.

Nice to have

• Cleanroom design experience in high-tech, medical technology, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology sectors.
