Engineering Manager II (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the site engineering organization across mechanical and electrical teams to achieve operating plan, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets.
• Prioritize engineering resources and initiatives with site functions to meet customer and business demands.
• Partner across functions in the engineered-to-order process, balancing engineering rigor, velocity, schedule, and flexibility.
• Provide technical and strategic leadership for long-term product architecture and short-term business execution.
• Coach and mentor engineering leaders within building framework and power systems functions.
• Establish training, onboarding, standard design practices, continuous improvement, and quality processes, including coordination with offshore and contract engineering resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or comparable experience; relevant areas include mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or architectural engineering.
• 10+ years of proven experience and 8+ years leading technical teams.
• Experience in engineered-to-order engineering operations, process improvement, or technical program leadership.
• Understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes for control buildings and engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
• Strong communication, planning, facilitation, stakeholder-management, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

• Sheet metal experience.
