Training Coordinator I - Microbiology Processing

Location: Dublin, Ohio, United States, or Durham, North Carolina, United States. On-site role with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 1:00 AM to 9:30 AM, rotating Sundays and Mondays, and possible travel to client sites and other branches.

Pay: $18.75–$24.00 per hour plus shift differential.

What you will do

• Support onboarding and deliver initial, group, and individualized training for employees.
• Train employees on company and department policies, procedures, competencies, and laboratory information systems.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and update training resources, materials, and plans.
• Serve as a procedural and compliance resource while supporting quality and service metrics.
• Assist with improvement plans for underperforming employees and maintain accurate training records.
• Support laboratory workflow during high-volume periods and provide training at client sites or other branches when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of work experience.
• Understanding of laboratory operations, policies, and procedures.
• Experience in a high-volume laboratory environment and familiarity with laboratory information systems.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, customer service, and computer skills.
• Ability to work the specified overnight schedule on site, travel throughout the territory, work overtime or other shifts, and meet the physical requirements of the position.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree.
• At least 6 months of training or leadership experience.
