Pharmacy Technician

Location: Goodyear, Arizona, United States; onsite

Salary: Starting wages up to $20.75 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy in accordance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Receive, count, store, and replenish pharmacy inventory and supplies.
• Research pet parent orders using computer systems.
• Select medications, count quantities, and accurately label vials and packaging.
• Package orders for shipment and load them onto carrier vehicles.
• Complete inventory cycle counts and assist pharmacists with medication dispensing tasks.

Requirements

• Valid pharmacy technician registration issued by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy.
• At least 18 years old.
• Strong attention to detail when filling pharmacy orders.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk up to 2 miles per shift, and lift 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
