Registered Pharmacy Technician

Location: New Albany, Ohio, United States; on-site. Schedule: Front Half Nights, Sunday–Wednesday, 9:00 PM–7:30 AM.

What you will do

• Process, label, assemble, fill, and transition medications through pharmacy workflows.
• Maintain patient profiles and organize medication orders for pharmacist dispensing.
• Support pharmacy inventory by checking stock, ordering supplies, verifying deliveries, and removing outdated drugs.
• Follow state and federal pharmacy regulations, FDA requirements, HIPAA privacy rules, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, safe, and infection-controlled pharmacy areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team and complete related operational tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Active registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to work flexible shift times and the specified overnight schedule.
• Attention to detail, teamwork, and proficiency in written and verbal English.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience in a community, mail-order, or hospital pharmacy.
