Phlebotomy Lead

Location: Portland, Oregon, United States; additional locations include Seattle, Washington; Saint Helens, Oregon; and Vancouver, Washington.

What you will do

• Provide phlebotomy coverage and travel to various patient service centers and client sites.
• Assist with supervising phlebotomists across multiple locations.
• Observe new employees and report performance feedback to the supervisor.
• Conduct site inspections, competency assessments, and ongoing staff training.
• Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels, information logs, and schedule adjustments.
• Resolve customer service issues and perform phlebotomist and site coordinator duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program may substitute for work experience.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments and under minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, teamwork, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital environment.
• Current or prior hirify.global experience.
