Phlebotomist Lead-Full Time Evenings

Location: hirify.global Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital, 1000 N. Westmoreland, Lake Forest, Illinois. Onsite, full-time evening shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., 40 hours per week, with every other weekend rotation.

Salary: $23.85–$32.19 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate the daily performance, organization, scheduling, and staffing of centralized phlebotomy services.
• Perform hands-on phlebotomy duties and provide coverage during staff absences and vacations.
• Assist with hiring, training, evaluation, coaching, and performance improvement for phlebotomy personnel.
• Teach phlebotomy procedures and support staff development.
• Coordinate communication and problem-solving with shift supervisors and hospital and laboratory staff.
• Help revise training programs and maintain phlebotomy policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• PBT (ASCP) certification or equivalent.
