Phlebotomist Lead - Inpatient, Full-Time, Days

Location: 710 N. Fairbanks, Chicago, Illinois, United States. Onsite inpatient role with a full-time day shift.

Salary: $23.85–$32.19 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate the daily performance, organization, scheduling, and staffing of centralized phlebotomy services.
• Perform inpatient phlebotomy duties and provide coverage during absences and vacations.
• Assist with hiring, training, evaluation, and performance improvement for phlebotomy personnel.
• Teach phlebotomy procedures to less-skilled staff and support staff development.
• Coordinate communication and problem solving with supervisors and hospital and laboratory staff.
• Help revise training programs and maintain phlebotomy policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• PBT (ASCP) certification or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience.
• Previous supervisory skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Chicago, Illinois, on a full-time day shift.
