Director, Global Network

Location: US, Arlington, VA

Salary: $183,000–$238,000 per year, plus annual bonus and long-term compensation.

What you will do

• Shape and execute the global network strategy, roadmap, operating model, standards, and governance framework.
• Lead globally distributed Network Architecture & Engineering and Global Network Operations teams.
• Drive modernization across WAN, SD-WAN, cloud, datacenter, campus, wireless, Internet, voice, segmentation, and secure remote access environments.
• Ensure 24x7 operational support, service-level objectives, major incident management, capacity planning, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Cybersecurity to strengthen network controls, compliance, disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resilience.
• Manage budgets, business cases, telecommunications and managed-service providers, vendors, and global network transformation programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive enterprise network infrastructure experience in a large, complex, global environment.
• Experience leading architecture, engineering, and operations teams and executing global network strategies and large-scale transformation programs.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise networking, including WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, cloud networking, datacenter and campus connectivity, wireless, Internet, voice, segmentation, and secure remote access.
• Strong understanding of network security, regulatory compliance, disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resilience.
• Experience with financial management, service management, major incident management, vendor management, enterprise architecture, program management, and executive stakeholder communication.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• ITIL certification or equivalent experience.
• TOGAF, PMP, networking, or cloud certifications.
