IT Manager (Microsoft 365)

Location: On-site five days per week in Etobicoke, Ontario, in the Toronto airport area. The role includes occasional travel between Ontario sites.

Salary: CA$100,000–CA$120,000 base salary, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead a small IT team of 2–3 people, set priorities, coach team members, and own the annual IT roadmap and budget.
• Evaluate and lead IT projects from planning through rollout while managing vendors, software purchases, SaaS renewals, and the external MSP relationship.
• Administer ERP and CRM platforms, including Epicor Prophet 21, Salesforce, SQL-based business systems, and the internal quote-generation application.
• Manage infrastructure across Ontario sites, including networks, wireless, VPN, servers, virtualization, backups, and recovery testing.
• Run Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, endpoint, compliance, and device-management services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Entra ID.
• Operate security and voice platforms, including Microsoft Defender, Secure Score controls, Teams Phone, Direct Routing, call queues, auto attendants, and E911.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT systems administration or infrastructure roles, including 3+ years managing people.
• Experience building and presenting annual IT plans and budgets, selecting projects, and leading implementations.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience, including Conditional Access, DLP, sensitivity labels, Intune, and Entra ID.
• Hands-on ERP administration experience, preferably with Epicor Prophet 21, covering users, roles, configuration, master data, upgrades, and UAT.
• Experience managing networks, servers, virtualization, backups, security operations, and Microsoft Teams Phone.
• Experience governing AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, plus scripting and automation with PowerShell or Microsoft Graph and SQL query writing.

Nice to have

• Salesforce administration experience.
• Experience with Ubiquiti UniFi, Azure governance and cost management, Fivetran, or Azure Data Factory.
• Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or multi-site operations.
• Certifications such as MS-102, AZ-104, CCNA, or Security+.
