Senior Manager, Site Selection (Leasing Experience Preferred)

Location: Bellevue, WA; Livingston, NJ; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Sunnyvale, CA

Base salary: $160,000–$215,000 per year, plus potential bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Identify, evaluate, and advance data center site opportunities across the United States and broader Americas.
• Assess power availability, utility capacity, substation access, fiber, costs, permitting, tax incentives, zoning, environmental conditions, and regional risks.
• Lead site-level due diligence and coordinate technical and commercial feasibility reviews with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Support lease negotiations, commercial structuring, LOI progression, transaction execution, and approval materials.
• Manage the Americas site pipeline, milestones, documentation, risks, and data integrity in Salesforce and internal systems.
• Coordinate handoffs from site selection into delivery, buildout, and operations across Engineering, Capacity Planning, Networking, Finance, Legal, and Operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data center site selection, infrastructure development, commercial real estate, or a related field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. and Americas data center markets, utility infrastructure, power procurement, zoning, permitting, and regional regulatory frameworks.
• Experience leading commercial lease negotiations, complex due diligence workflows, feasibility assessments, and transactions from inception to close.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent deals and high-volume project pipelines with accuracy, follow-through, and strong risk management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical and financial information to varied audiences.
• Applicants must meet U.S. export-control access requirements, including being a U.S. person or being eligible for the required authorization.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Salesforce or an equivalent CRM or pipeline management platform.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Leasing experience.
