Experienced Phlebotomist (Medtech)

Location: Onsite positions in Bridgeport, Harrisville, Dunbar, Princeton, and Summersville, West Virginia; Grove City and Huber Heights, Ohio; and Centreville, Virginia, United States. Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with rotating Saturdays.

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen logs.
• Enter patient data, process billing information, and collect payments when required.
• Provide customer service to patients and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional Patient Service Centers or client offices when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, completion of a training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience.
• Certification or training used in place of experience must come from an accredited agency.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Nice to have

• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
• Proven record of exceptional customer service.
