On-Call Senior Research Analyst (SAS)

Location: Remote within the United States; US citizenship required. The role is on-call and based under the Nationwide Remote Office (US99). A background check, including an SF-86 review, is required for project work.

Salary: $74,090–$125,954 annually based on full-time employment.

What you will do

• Contribute to research and evaluation plans using qualitative, quantitative, experimental, quasi-experimental, and mixed-method designs.
• Develop and implement analysis plans for qualitative and quantitative data.
• Develop SAS code for longitudinal projects and review or refine existing code.
• Prepare technical reports and professionally written products for researchers and practitioners.
• Conduct comprehensive quality reviews before client submission.
• Collaborate with research, evaluation, and analytic staff and support proposal development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in education, public health, sociology, psychology, public policy, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection, research analysis, and/or program evaluation.
• Expertise with SAS code and strong professional writing skills.
• Ability to take ownership of research tasks, manage multiple activities, meet stringent deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively.
• US citizenship is required due to the federal contract.
• Ability to pass the required SF-86 background check, including no illicit substance use during the past 7 years.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of prevention research, K-20 education, or adult education in the United States.
• Experience with SPSS, R, Python, data visualization, consulting, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, presentation, and communication skills.
