Location: Remote, United States; work must be performed in the US. Foreign locations and personal VPN connections are prohibited.

Salary: $98,614–$167,644 annually.

What you will do

• Participate in the full Salesforce application lifecycle, including architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Develop, test, and deploy reusable Apex code, Lightning Components, Salesforce objects, data models, and integrations.
• Optimize application performance through modular development, query analysis, caching, lazy loading, and asynchronous workflows.
• Gather technical requirements, translate user stories into technical solutions, and collaborate with designers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Lead automation-first development, unit and integration testing, Agile delivery, cross-team collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain Salesforce best practices, coding standards, release compatibility, and platform support processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and perform all work in the US.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and have lived in the US for 3 full years out of the last 5.
• Experience with Salesforce development using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Visualforce, and SOQL.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, Salesforce data modeling, testing, and Agile development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Copado CI/CD, Salesforce developer certifications, AWS or multi-cloud development, and DevSecOps experience.
• Experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards, call center implementations, Health Cloud, civic technology, or government contracting.
• SAFe experience, object-oriented design patterns, and multi-team development experience.
