Salesforce Developer

Location: 100% remote within the continental United States; standard business hours align with the Eastern Time Zone. Occasional travel to client sites or meetings may be required.

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Design, build, configure, test, and deploy custom Salesforce applications and workflows.
• Develop technical solutions with Apex and Lightning Web Components, integrating Salesforce with external systems, APIs, authentication, auditing, and logging platforms.
• Implement Salesforce designs across Service, Sales, and Experience Cloud environments, including integrations and data analytics.
• Define requirements with customers, stakeholders, testing staff, and cross-functional teams; provide product demonstrations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, software release pipelines, testing, training, documentation, and delivery planning.
• Lead teams as needed and produce solution definitions, estimates, specifications, test scripts, and status reports.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional Salesforce development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional experience with Salesforce APIs, Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, Flows, Salesforce CPQ, and related Salesforce functionality.
• Experience with object-oriented software development, Agile methodologies, cloud environments, and technical documentation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for this eligibility.
• Must currently hold or be willing to obtain an active CompTIA Security+ certification.

Nice to have

• Active Secret security clearance and Salesforce certifications.
• Experience with OmniStudio, Flosum, Copado, SOAP/REST microservices, Java, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, AJAX, or jQuery.
