Part Time Hospital Phlebotomist - Weekends (Healthcare)

Location: Pell City, Alabama, United States; Winchester, Kentucky, United States; Tucker, Georgia, United States; Tallahassee, Florida, United States; Roswell, Georgia, United States; Cumming, Georgia, United States; Columbus, Georgia, United States; or Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, United States. The role is based on site and may require travel to additional sites.

What you will do

• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen information logs.
• Enter patient and billing information, process payments when required, and complete clerical duties.
• Provide customer service to patients and travel to additional sites when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of phlebotomy experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proven customer-service record.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record when applicable; ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Availability for every other Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with overtime flexibility as needed.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program.
